Garden & Gun
Introduction
The prompt for this project was to redesign the interface a site of our choosing. For this project I partnered with Carly Reagan and together we chose to redesign the Garden & Gun website. Garden & Gun is a magazine that focuses on Southern lifestyles.
Research
Interviews and Card Sorting
In order to understand the emotions that the website should express, we created a deck of cards with a wide variety of emotional adjectives for users to sort and categorize according to how they felt an interface would make them feel. From there we had them how they would interact with this perceived personality they created, as well as what kind of person/place/thing they saw this interface as.
